April Smith  Director

April Smith serves as the Director of the Chester Baptist Association Women’s Ministry and Missionary Union (CBAWMU), where she is passionate about equipping and encouraging others to live on mission for Christ. With over 30 years of ministry experience, serving as a pastor's wife and in various capacities within the church, April brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a deep love for serving others.

She works alongside within the church to promote missions \and create opportunities for individuals of all ages to engage in meaningful service. April has a special passion for ministering to women across Chester County through prayer, encouragement, worship, and fellowship. She believes in the power of connection and strives to build strong, faith-filled relationships that inspire women to grow spiritually and walk boldly in their calling.

Through her leadership, April seeks to cultivate a culture of missions involvement by supporting churches, developing leaders, and fostering a spirit of unity across the association. Her desire is to see lives transformed through the gospel and to help others discover their place in God’s mission.

She currently supports her husband, Pastor Wayne Smith as he serves as pastor of Lando Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys worshipping through music, spending time with her family, and watching netflix.
