Celebrating What God Has Done.
Inspiring What’s Next.
Each year, Chester Baptist Association Women’s Ministry & Missionary Union (CBAWMU) will prepares a report highlighting the work and impact of our ministry. This report will be delivered during the October annual meeting. At this time we will share key moments, recent events, and ways our churches and members have been actively engaged in missions throughout the past year.
Our goal is to celebrate what God is doing across Chester County while also encouraging and equipping our local women and WMU groups and churches to grow deeper in their commitment to missions.

2025 - 1,904 Prisoner Packets were delivered by CBA Churches!
The South Carolina Prisoner Packets ministry provides a powerful opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who often feel forgotten. Through simple care packages filled with essential items, churches and volunteers can bring hope, encouragement, and the message of the gospel to inmates across the state. By packing, praying, and participating, individuals and churches become a part of a life-changing mission—reminding inmates that they are seen, valued, and never beyond the reach of God’s grace.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is a special opportunity for churches and individuals to support North American missionaries as they share the gospel and meet needs across the United States and Canada. Every gift given goes directly to missionaries, helping them plant churches, serve communities, and bring hope to those who have yet to hear the message of Christ. Through prayer, giving, and participation, we join together in advancing God’s kingdom and making a lasting impact for eternity.
The Janie Chapman State Mission Offering provides an opportunity for South Carolina Baptists to support missions right here at home. Through this offering, churches and individuals help fund ministries that meet physical and spiritual needs across our state—strengthening churches, supporting pastors, responding to crises, and reaching communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every gift stays in South Carolina, making a direct impact as we partner together to share hope and transform lives through missions.
The Christmas Backpacks Ministry is a tangible way to share the love of Christ with children and teenagers in need. Through this mission effort, churches and individuals provide backpacks filled with essential items and gifts that bring both practical support and the message of hope found in the gospel. These backpacks are distributed during outreach events where the gospel is shared, helping meet both physical and spiritual needs in communities across Appalachia and South Carolina.
By participating, churches have the opportunity to make a lasting impact—reminding children that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God during the Christmas season and beyond.
Operation Christmas Child is a global outreach ministry that shares the love of Christ with children around the world through simple gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box is packed with toys, school supplies, and personal care items, but more importantly, it carries a powerful message of hope—the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Through this ministry, churches and individuals have the opportunity to impact lives across nations, reminding children that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. Many children who receive a shoebox also have the opportunity to participate in discipleship programs, helping them grow in their faith and share the gospel with others.
By packing, praying, and giving, we become part of a mission that reaches far beyond our communities—bringing joy, hope, and the message of salvation to children around the world.
